We do this by providing safe shelter, meals, day care and support services for these families. We also partner with programs designed to redress the underlying causes of homelessness.
Through a unique partnership with diverse communities of faith, Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) provides emergency shelter, meals and supportive services to homeless families in the Gaston County area.
IHN operates under the model of “hospitality.” Volunteers are the program’s “hosts” and the families staying in the Network are our “guests.”
IHN meets the guests’ basic human needs with a spirit of warmth and compassion.
